Situated on the very edge of the blue-green Indian Ocean, the hotel Le Relax Beach Resort Hotel is a short drive along the coast from Praslin Airport - luggage can be directed straight to Praslin from Seychelles International Airport. Although close to the airport the hotel is well away from, and out of hearing, of the flight path!

For those arriving via the Mahe - Praslin ferry at "the jetty", Le Relax is a stunning 15 - 20 minute taxi ride through the fabulous Vallee de Mai National Park. The coast road around Praslin passes the entrance to Le Relax and is well served by local buses. Journeys by bus on Praslin are extraordinarily interesting - and cheap - you can make any journey for just 30 scr -but they do take a little longer than travelling by taxi! Travelling by bus does, of course, ensure that you have the opportunity to meet the locals and really sample Seychelles' life and culture first hand.

Excursions and car hire can be arranged through the hotel. Local shops are within walking distance.

Le Relax Beach Resort Hotel, Praslin was conceived to meet the increasing demand for affordable quality Seychelles accommodation. The hotel underwent a complete refurbishment during 2004 and was reopened in January 2005 with 10 comfortable rooms all with en-suite facilities. The design of the hotel is of a functional rather than luxurious nature - rooms are clean and comfortable, similar to what you would expect from a reasonably well appointed European motel - except for the fact that Le Relax enjoys a high standard of local Creole hospitality and dining - and is adjacent to the Indian Ocean not the M1!

Le Relax Hotel is very laid back and relatively quiet. In the vicinity there are local shops, a Bank, churches, petrol station, bus stop, medical clinic and, reputedly, a Discotheque.

If you are looking for a good base from which to explore Praslin and sample some of the worlds finest beaches - such as Anse Lazio, then Le Relax Beach Resort Hotel is ideally located.

You may of course just want to relax and soak up the sun on the very edge of the Indian Ocean - which is conveniently just outside your room. The well kept lawns stretch from your door and merge through a light hedge directly on to a long, golden sandy beach.

The owners have done a great job in creating a good clean base from which guests can explore Praslin . Their objective was to create good clean affordable accommodation in Seychelles and this they have achieved admirably.
